Ok so check this out…we are driving long distances through outback Queensland and yesterday the kids were really quiet!!! You’d all think LOVELY – PEACE AND QUIET! :: NO NOT AT ALL ::
Now our kids are not allowed their devices [iPads] during a School week [we’re still in the last week of Term 3 in the NT], and while we’re travelling they have needed to keep up their schooling bookwork in the car [even if it’s messy with the bumpy roads].
I turn around to see their wireless headphones hanging out of their ears [they’re only allowed one earphone in at one time so they can hear if we’re talking to them.]
I find out that these SMARTY PANTS have left their iPads in the ‘caravan’ in their cupboard closest to the car so they can bluetooth their headphones to them and listen to Adventures in Odyssey while we’re driving and their not actually being “ON” their devices!!!
